TAPG is committed to developing a sustainable and responsible supply chain system in accordance with the Company’s Sustainability Policy. In order to maximize the value of sustainability along the business chain, the Company ensures conformity with applicable plantation laws and regulations while maintaining a harmony between people, planet, and prosperity.

TAPG applies partnership scheme with scheme smallholders and independent smallholders. This approach not only guarantees the sustainability of the Company’s palm oil production supply, but it also leads to improving farmers’ living standards by increasing the yield of their plantations, which in turn affects the farmers’ earnings. The Company has also conducted a 100% of Good Agriculture Practices training program for all scheme smallholders.

Human Resources (HR) capacity building is carried out not only for scheme smallholders, but also for independent smallholders. In order to comply with sustainability policies and commitments, the Company conducts training programs in comprehensive and continuous manner. Since 2019, the Company actively involving its Independent Smallholders in the implementation of TAPG's Sustainability Policy. Furthermore, the Company is also working on tracebility of its supply chain as a commitment to implementing Sustainability Policy. The commitment can be found in here.

The training topics include both technical and nontechnical topics, such as governance and the principles of Good Agriculture Practices (GAP). Every year, the TAPG regularly offers GAP training sessions for oil palm farmers in order to ensure that this practice is implemented in their plantations.

In general, scheme smallholders and independent smallholders, are under institutions or organizations such as farmer groups and cooperatives. These institutions, particularly cooperatives, in addition to commercial and financial management or financing function, also serve as facilitators in improving plantation management to increase productivity and quality. Traceability

The Company ensures full traceability for all Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) supplies processed in the Company's Palm Oil Mills (POM). The FFB's supply from nucleus and scheme smallholders is very transparent and traceable, nevertherless, the Company has developed a System and Application, particulary the Commodity Tracer (Commtrace), that can detect and manage independent farmer data and its traceability. In 2025, the Company will achieve 100% traceability. The plan can be found in here. All our FFB supply originated from Indonesia. We do not supply FFB from other countries.

Scheme Smallholders Certification
​
To date, 2 of the Company’s Palm Oil Mills (POM) have been RSPO certified.
​
The Company plans to certify the Scheme Smallholders plantation gradually for all operations area.
